Budget: 5 M €€, Partners: MASMEC Automotive S.p.A. (Lead Partner), CRF S.C.p.A. and CNR-IMAA/ISM.

The ARPA project is connected to the development of recent technologies such as Augmented Reality, Additive Manufacturing and Big Data, in order to convey state-of-the-art scientific methods and materials that can improve current automotive production processes. The project aims to significantly increase the process features in terms of efficiency, reliability, maintainability, sustainability, safety and ability to provide the market requirements with R&D on innovative materials and new production methods. The research activities of the CNR are focused on the study and preparation of intelligent and innovative nano-structured and hybrid nano-composite materials to be used as "ink" for manufacturing, through 3D printing, of passive, active and programmable components.
