With the slogan “Research is Revolution”, SuperScienceMe aims to disseminate scientific culture to the general public in the regions of Calabria and Basilicata, paying greater attention to the involvement of young people at school age. The project is based on a journey through time where human evolution is combined with scientific research which represents a fundamental and intrinsic value of humanity for its peculiarities of freedom and ability to overcome any pre-established barrier and prejudice. Being an expression of fantasy and imagination, resarch can neither be confined nor limited. In this way it constitues a founding element of man's "richness" as an expression of Freedom. Due to the characteristics of our historical period,SuperScienceMe also aims to restore people's sensitivity to those values, such as equality and inclusion, that are necessary to effectively pursue the social objectives of the European Union. In this context, the appreciation of young people for beauty and diversity becomes a fundamental element to encourage their involvement in the active protection of the common good where research and technical-scientific development play an important role. SuperScienceMe, through technological solutions and new intrinsic paradigms of scientific development, aims to transfer, with the activities provided during the Researchers' Night, knowledge on the tools that research offers to achieve the objectives of equality and social inclusion. The activities, planned both in research sites such as the Secondary Headquarters of ISM at Tito Scalo and non-common spaces, such as hospitals and juvenile prisons, have the aim of conveying the message of how knowledge and research have guided, in time, through the observation of natural phenomena and their understanding, the fantastic evolution of humanity.
